SATURDAY MORNING GROUP RUN

When: CRC’s Saturday morning group runs start at 8am.* (Updated 1-29-25)
Where: We meet in the parking lot on the north side of the One Mile Recreation Area at Bidwell Park in Chico (see map below/Google Maps).
Who: There is almost always a group running, rain or shine!*
How Long: We usually break into groups based on pace and distance, depending on distance-
3 miles to 8 miles are typical (example Strava route)
*In the summer we switch from 8am to a 7:30am start time to beat the heat. Check our Facebook Group for the latest updates.
*RACE DAYS: if there is a major race in the park on Saturday morning (like Bidwell Classic, etc.), the group run will be canceled – many club members will be racing and we don’t want to interfere with the event.*
-All ages and abilities are welcome, come run with us on Saturday mornings!
-We mix up our routes and meeting points to train for local races.
